So this blog is about the journey to find some business benefits for peace between Chad and Sudan. Essentially adding more dimension to the question "What value comes from finding peace?"
In my opinion, after researching for a few months, the geo-politics muddy this issue. Chad sells a lot of oil to the western powers in exchange for bullets, and Sudan does the same with China. The western media focuses on Sudan, but we could benefit from some broader thinking on the issue.

MISSION
To share value focused on business and peace within the north-eastern region of Africa around the Sudan and Chad.
VALUES
I follow a philosophy of combining my passion and business skills to develop a singular focus on listening to myself holistically, and following my spirit to share value with the world. The following five values summarize my approach to this project:
- Healthy spirit - I love myself carefully and listen to all aspects of my spirit when making decisions. Through this, I hear others clearly.
- Equity - I respect all life, including when this hurts. This allows me share more effectively.
- Value - I focus on using my wisdom to share knowledge and ideas, thus opening opportunities for new value.
- Balance - With new value available, I look at the distribution to ensure a balance among all stakeholders.
- Global view - Finally, I look at the large scale impact of the value story and how this grows organically to continue creating opportunities for all those involved.
APPROACH
This venture focuses around developing another perspective on the war between Sudan and Chad through the analysis of costs, benefits and value. Value in this sense focuses on the many opportunities available once peace arises. The following areas shall help illuminate this perspective:- The potential reduction in the cost of oil extraction if a regionally brokered peace is established.
- The positive GDP affects of peace on the region.
